Edit: actually, I referred to the ingame guide in the menu, and saw that for every status except shock and break it says ‘occurs when x damage builds up.’. For break and shock it just says ‘when in shock/break.’. So I’m guessing this is probably the intended functionality of those particular statuses then. r/LiesOfP.
