FUJIFILM 16-55/2.8 LM WR:┕ Amazon (*) This review has just been added and I have to say the results are somewhat underwhelming. Resolution is very close to the 18-55mm at similar focus lengths and apertures. My experience suggests the 16-55mm is noticeably sharper, but this may be down to differences in micro-contrast and rendering.

The 8-16 is fantastic for night photography if you plan to do a lot of ultra-wide nightscapes with the Fujifilm system. At f/2.8 there is very little coma in the corners, but there is a fair amount of distortion which accentuates the star trails that are not apparent in the center of the frame.
